Chemistry of Chamchagiri

What is sycophancy, popularly known as Chamchagiri in our country? Is it an art or has it got a scientific basis?Is it an artful science or a scientific art?Perhaps both.

In order to be a Chamcha, one has to have the loyalty of a dog(the stray one!),craftiness of a fox,patience and tolerance of an ass and a chameleon like ability to change colours.The four animal ingredients combined with a good dose of human shamelessness complete the formula of Chamchagiri.You may call it Chamchamycin.The level of ingredients vary with the need of the Chamcha.It also depends on the class of the CHAMCHABAZ.The Chamcha has to consider the like and dislike of his master!

There are various grades of chamchas.And they are found in almost every sphere of life be it politics or administration or literature or business or academics or medicine or in any other field.You name it they are there.In the present scenario, chamchas abound in politics.Politicians especially those in power have in their 'treasure' a posse of chamchas  from different fields be it from politics itself or from literature or from business or from bureaucracy or education or medicine or filmdom or religion or from among the new breed of mediapersons(who have of late assumed special position in the field of Chamchagiri) Being a chamcha has now assumed the proportion of being a status symbol!

Where political chamchas try to please their masters(the Chamchabaaz)through speeches,statements, rallies, processions etc,the literary chamchas take recourse to their pen to eulogise their idols.The present day bureaucrat is no longer able to perform  his/her duty without taking a regular dose of Chamchamycin.Medical chamchas run to their masters with all their equipments even if the politician has a sneeze! Religious chamchas-the prriests from different religions become ardent chamchas by becoming the sole medium to connect  their strings direct to the almighty!

The 'ladies and gentlemen' of the fourth estate are on top in the field of Chamchagiri.Pen and now-a -days television have become mightier than sword!None from the other fields can ever dream of beating them as far as Chamchagiri is concerned!

Chamchas happen to be quite an intelligent lot.They have the ability to recognize the shining sun (and son!) of the day!They worship only the rising ones.They never commit the blunder of becoming तिनके का सहारा of the setting sun(or son!).The moment the particular sun sets, the chamchas disappear from the scene.They are guided by their self interests rather than the interest of their erstwhile masters.Their lacrimal ducts are devoid of tears.

Heroes and sycophants though are complimentary to each other.Both are usually devoid of talent and they are ever so conscious of that. Their togetherness is a perfect example of symbiosis!

A Chamcha is quite content to be near his hero of the day.He never aspires to be a hero himself.For,if he indulged in such misadventure, he would cease to be what he is -A Chamcha!

One of the most admirable qualities of a perfect chamcha is that he doesn't believe in sentimentalism.His head forever rules his heart.He may do great things for his hero but he never gets emotionally involved with him.The moment his hero falls from grace,the Chamcha like a true chameleon changes colour and runs to the up and coming hero or heroes of the day!

Heroes may come and may go but chamchas go on forever!

PS: We all know, Late Mrs Indira Gandhi had a big force of chamchas so long as she ruled.One Indira chamcha once lamented:

      "Who says we are Mrs Gandhi's YES MEN! The truth is that whenever she says NO, we all say NO..."The same applies to the present one too!

काश! हिन्दू भी सांप्रदायिक होते!

धर्म का अर्थ है-धारणीय गुणों पर आधारित जीवन प्रणाली.मनु ने धर्म के १० लक्षण बतलाये हैं- संतोष,क्षमा,संयम,सत्यनिष्ठा, बुद्धिमता, ज्ञानार्जन,मानसिक अनुशासन,इन्द्रियों पर नियंत्रण,चोरी न करना तथा विचार, कर्म और संभाषण की शुद्धता.यही सनातन धर्म है,यही हिन्दू धर्म है.

खेद है की कतिपय ऐतिहासिक कारणों से हिन्दू धर्म का स्वरुप विकृत होता गया और कालांतर में पौराणिक धर्म का प्रचलन हो गया, जिसने हिन्दू समाज को न केवल निकम्मा, काहिल और अज्ञानी बना दिया वरण पूर्णतः पथभ्रष्ट भी कर दिया.अब उसका धर्म कतिपय त्यौहारों,दान-दक्षिणा, श्राद्धादि भर रह गया है.पंडित,पुजारी,तथाकथित गुरु आम हिन्दू तथा सनातन वैदिक धर्म के बीच दीवार बन कर खड़े हैं ताकि हिन्दू समाज का वैदिक धर्म के साथ साक्षात्कार न हो जाये!उन्हें भय है की जिस दिन हिन्दू सत्य को जान गया, उनकी दुकानदारी जाती रहेगी.कभी वैदिक धर्म का अनुयायी आज बिल्कुल असहायावस्था में है तथा विधर्मी मतों के सतत आक्रमण को झेलने की स्थिति में नहीं है.हिन्दू समाज की यह अवस्था हिन्दू राष्ट्र के लिए घोर चिंता का विषय है.

पश्चिम एशिया में उदित इस्लाम और ईसाई मत पैगम्बरवाद की धुरी पर टिके हैं.इसाई मत के अनुसार इश्वर का एक ही पुत्र है-इसा मसीह.जो उसकी शरण में गया वो तर गया.जिसने उसे अपना मुक्तिदाता मानने से इनकार किया वह नरकाग्नि में जलने के लिए अभिशप्त हो गया. स्वर्ग का वीजा देने का एकमात्र ठेका उसी के पास है.

ईसा  के ६०० वर्षों के बाद इस्लाम का उदय हुआ.इस्लाम का मुख्य सूत्र है- "अल्लाह के सिवा और कोई इश्वर नहीं है तथा मोहम्मद ही उसका एकमात्र(और आखिरी) पैगम्बर है".कुरआन के अनुसार दीन (धर्म) केवल इस्लाम है और उसपर ईमान(विश्वास) लाने वाला मोमिन तथा इनकार करने वाला काफिर है.अल्लाह पर ईमान लाने वालों पर ही अल्लाह रहमतों की वर्षा करता है.अन्य मतावलंबियों के लिए उसके पास बड़ा भारी अजाब(सजा) है.मुसलमानों के अनुसार कुरआन एक 'आसमानी' किताब है जिसमे निहित सन्देश सम्पूर्ण मानवता के लिए हैं.धरती पर अल्लाह का साम्राज्य स्थापित करने के लिए (अर्थात सम्पूर्ण मानवता को मुसलमान बनाने के लिए ) जिहाद् करना हर मुसलमान का ईश्वरीय कर्तव्य है.

स्पष्टतः  इन दोनों मतों की प्रकृति में अद्भुत समानता है. इनका उद्देश्य है-सम्पूर्ण विश्व में इस्लाम या  इसाइयत का साम्राज्य स्थापित करना. इनके रास्ते भले ही अलग-अलग हों उद्देश्य एक ही है.जहाँ इसाईं  मत "सेवा मार्ग" से इस धरती पर अपना साम्राज्य स्थापित करने में विश्वास रखता है, इस्लाम आतंकवाद के माध्यम से विश्व में अपना प्रभुत्व स्थापित करने के लिए संघर्षरत है.

एक ओर जहां इसाई और इस्लामी संगठन इस देश पर अपना आधिपत्य स्थापित करने के लिए हर संभव-असंभव प्रयास करने से बाज नहीं आ रहे, वहीं दूसरी  ओर हिन्दू मानस किसी भी ऐसे आसन्न खतरे का आभास तक करने की स्थिति में नहीं है.वास्तविक संघर्ष तो इसाई और इस्लाम के बीच है.हिन्दू तो इस संघर्ष में कहीं भी नहीं है.उसे इसका जरा भी ज्ञान नहीं कि उसका क्या हश्र होने वाला है.उसे इसका तनिक भी आभास नहीं की उसकी भारत माता का चीरहरण होने वाला है!आम हिन्दू, हिन्दू समाज तथा अपनी मातृभूमि के भविष्य के प्रति पूर्णतः उदासीन है."सर्वधर्म समभाव","अनेकता में एकता","वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम" तथा "धर्मनिरपेक्षता" के खोखले सिद्धांतों को सीने से लगाये बेसुध पड़ा है.अपने "अल्पसंख्यक भाइयों" के प्यार में वह पागल है, बिना इसकी परवाह किये कि उसके ये "भाई" उसे अपना भाई तक नहीं मानते!वह तो यह भी नहीं समझ पा रहा की यहूदी संस्कृति पर आधारित ये मत भारत-भूमि को अपनी मातृभूमि तक नहीं मानते, उसे महज जमीन का एक टुकड़ा मानते हैं जिस पर येन-केन-प्रकारेण कब्जा करना उनका मजहबी कर्तव्य है!

काश, हिन्दू भी सांप्रदायिक होते!उनकी सबसे बड़ी त्रासदी भी यही रही है की वे कभी भी साम्प्रदायिक नहीं   बन पाए.यही कारण है कि उनका भारतवर्ष एक के बाद एक  विधर्मियों के हाथ का खिलौना बनता रहा, पद-दलित होता रहा.

वेदों में इडा,सरस्वती तथा मही के रूप में मातृभूमि,मातृभाषा तथा मात्रिसंस्कृति को तीन कल्याणकारी देवियों का स्थान प्रदान किया गया है-" इडा सरस्वती मही देवीर्मयोभुवः" .

या भूमि हमारी थी, हमारी है और सर्वदा हमारी रहेगी.हिन्दू राष्ट्र की सुरक्षा के लिए हर पल हमारी सावधानी अपेक्षित है. मानसिक दुर्बलता अनेकानेक विपत्तियों को आमंत्रण देती है.अतः वेद का यह मन्त्र याद रखना होगा:
        उदारीणा उतासीनाः तिष्ठ्न्तः प्रकामन्तः
        पद्भ्याम दक्षिन्सव्याभ्याम मा व्यथिष्म्ही भूम्याम (अथर्ववेद १२/1/२८)

अर्थात हमारी मातृभूमि किसी भी स्थिति में हमसे तिरस्कृत न हो और न ही व्यथित हो.

मातृभूमि को डायन कहने वाले पतित प्राणी इस मन्त्र में अन्तर्निहित मर्म को क्या जाने!

अतः यदि आर्य (हिन्दु) राष्ट्र का अस्तित्व बचाए रखना है तो इस आर्य-भूमि पर आर्यापुत्रों का जन्मसिद्ध अधिकार बनाये रखना होगा.इस हेतु उन्हें उग्र साम्प्रदायिकता अपनानी होगी. अन्यथा वैदिक आर्य (हिन्दू) राष्ट्र का कोई भविष्य नहीं

बहुसंख्यक सम्प्रदायकवाद में ही वास्तविक राष्ट्रवाद का दर्शन किया जा सकता है, मूर्खतापूर्ण धर्मनिरपेक्षता में नहीं.

हमें अपने अन्दर स्फूर्त भावनाओं का संचार करना होगा ताकि हम निम्न वैदिक मंत्रनुसार यह कह सकें:

                                       अहमस्मि सहमान उत्तरों भूम्याम
      अर्थात मातृभूमि की रक्षा के लिए विरोधी शक्तियों का पराभव करने वाला मैं स्वयं हूँ.मैं प्रशासनीय यश् वाला हूँ तथा हर दिशा से आने वाली विपत्तियों को निःशेष करने की क्षमता रखता हूँ.


                                                      इति
